Vision Statement

Teaching excellence and God's truth to future leaders.

Philosophy

We believe that the parents are the primary educators of their children—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and academically (Duet. 6:6-9). At the parent’s request, the Christian School, along with the church, becomes a partner in providing this education. Our goal is to reinforce development in all areas by providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a desire to explore and understand God’s creation and His Word. We believe that a biblical worldview is intrinsic to all teaching and that the basis for all instruction is God’s Holy Word (II Tim. 16:17). The Bible tells us that “Jesus grew in wisdom and

stature and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Our desire is to provide a stimulating, active, Christ-centered environment that will help students to grow as Jesus grew—wisdom (cognitive development), stature (physical development) and favor with God and men (social and spiritual development. Rom. 12:1-2). Understanding that preschool children learn at different rates and stages, LCA uses developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate these active learners. Our curriculum features age-appropriate activities that foster a learning environment that meets the needs of each individual child.).

We believe that one of the most important people in your child’s life while you are away, is his/her teacher. All of our teachers are qualified, experienced professionals with an intense love for children. More importantly, our teachers are born-again Christians who seek to “lead by example”. We strive to exemplify Christian character and values in our own lives in order to better instill these qualities in our students.7).
